Because of his determined spirit, Suyeong was a person who only wanted to recognise his own favourable wins. For someone aiming to be a pro, the weakness caused by this mindset becomes a huge wall.

A student at the Korean Go Association/The nephew of a man who runs a Go Salon in Japan/After his game with Hikaru, he returned to Korea to become a pro.

Staring at Bitterness
Suyeong's destiny was greatly altered by his game with Hikaru. This is because when he had been starting to forget his passion toward igo, the courage to face his miserable self was put into his hand!
